Awfully sad if you asked me.. that this should happen on new year’s eve.. that is why i always choose not to celebrate in crowded places. And in Bangkok .. one can expect more of these incidences … because the building itself may not be safe .. due to lots of corruption there.

Ousted Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra pleaded not guilty Wednesday before the Supreme Court in one of two criminal corruption cases against him. Prime Minister from 2001 – 2006, he was abroad when a coup against him forced him to return to Thailand on Feb 28. Looks like he was banned last year with all his top executive from political office for the next 5 yrs.
Charged with 2 counts of corruption, Thaksin arrival created quite a stir where his supporters were chanting away ..for him to fight it. Thaksin said he was gonna prove his innocence, he was ousted in a military coup for corruption and power abuse.
