It looked like Tim Hortons does not like homeless ppl eh..?? after a kind woman bought breakfast for the homeless woman, an employee was said to be unhappy that the homeless woman stayed in the cafe to eat. And she turned around and told the good Samaritan that homeless ppl makes a mess. Holy Moly..!! normal ppl donch..??

Quick to cover up.. Tim’s spokesperson.. said that there was a history of disturbance from this homeless woman .. that was the reason why the remark was made…??? Ello.. ???!!!?? that wasn’t very nice indeed.

The 7.9 magnitude quake devastated a region of small cities and towns set amid steep hills north of Sichuan’s provincial capital of Chengdu. It happened in the mid afternoon.. and it can be felt as far as Vietnam.. and in Beijing. The folks in Beijing were told to evacuate.

A 60 years old woman died on a Via Rail train and 10 others fell ill. Train quarantined immediately. With 270 people quarantined in the depot in Foleyet, a community near Sudbury, Ont, police was notified of the medical emergency this morning.

Flu like symptoms was reported and at least one person was airlifted to the Timmins and District Hospital. 7 persons from Jasper area did not have the same degree or urgency that led to the death of the old woman.

FairPrice supermarket .. partially owned by the Singapore Government.. if i am not wrong… is restricting the consumers from buying more than 5 packs of rice.  It is said to be protecting the consumers against.. traders who might take advantage of the low price.
FairPrice said it offers one of the most competitive prices and has re-assured consumers that the supply of rice is adequate.  It also said most consumers should not be affected by the restriction. This is because most families take a while to finish a 10-kilogramme bag of rice.

Touring the flood ares in New Brunswick that were hit by flooding of St John River, Stephen Harper arrived in Fredericton on Friday and will continue his tour at the Maugerville area.

There will be a disaster assistance package available to the people affected by the floods and it will also include a contribution from the federal government. Everyone is working together and neighbours are also helping each other with sandbagging, sump pumps and transportation of food and water. It is reported that many people have lost valuables and their homes have suffered extensive damage.

Flood warning continues and the top priority remains continuing to ensure the safety of New Brunswickers, so the premier said.

I know some ppl are crazy.. but i didn’t think they would be this crazy..!!  when i heard that Obama’s breakfast was being auction on Ebay from a friend.. i thought what a crazy thing to do.  But it’s true.. apparently Senator Obama’s half eaten waffle and sausage is still sitting in a freezer at John Oakes’ home, a loyal customer of Glider Diner in Scranton.  He convinced the diner’s owner, LeStrange to give him the leftover of Obama’s meal.

What started out as a joke ended up in someone bidding a good $20K for the leftovers.  Now what would you think one would wanna do with Obama’s leftover..??  Now the ironic part is Oakes is a supporter of Hilary Clinton and he was planning to use the money raised on ebay for Obama’s leftover to go to Hilary’s campaign for president.  See how bizarre..!!!  As for me.. ! i’ll never keep Obama’s breakfast..!  if i get ahold of it.. down into the garbage can it will go.

Brenda Martin, 51 yrs of age, is found guilty by Mexican judge on Tuesday guilty of money laundering. The Ontario woman is sentenced to five years in prison without parole and a fine of close to $3,500.  Crying and screaming was the reaction when she heard the verdict.  According to friends of Martin, she will be appealing to serve her sentence in Canada.

Martin was found guilty of being part of a $60-million internet fraud scheme run by Canadian Alyn Waage, who was convicted of fraud in 2006. He is serving a 10-year term in a U.S. prison.  Martin maintained her innocence, saying she worked for Waage only as a chef. Waage has testified Martin was unaware of his activities.

When i read about the Chinese police fired on pilgrim protest and Tibetans wounded.. i cannot help but think of Tiananmen Square Massacre.  That day was a very sad day.. I was in Beijing for work.. and was quickly evacuated by the company i worked for .. and  sent home immediately.. but it was a very scary day.  100,000 students marched and gathered in Tiananmen Square and requested in vain to meet the Premier Li.

Several big names/companies has come up as bidders and one of them is telecom giants Rogers Communication.  Seriously, I hope Roger doesn’t win the bid.. because we need some new players in this field.

Seriously.. i wanna know what Bush had to say. It has been 5 yrs now.. since the war in Iraq started by Bush, i know so .. because i was in Maine, Freeport .. driving up to Connecticut.. and had to turn around.. because i didn’t wanna be in the wrong place at the wrong time. 5 yrs on.. and still Bush is lacking a strategy to win and withdraw.

Bush acknowledged that the costs of the war, in lives and money, had been higher and longer lasting than he had anticipated. And he insist and maintained that the invasion made the world better and US safer..!As far as i am concerned .. this war last too long.. and too much money spent.. and too many lives lost.. for no reason.  I think Bush is not willing to withdraw now.. because then he will be admitting he was wrong all alone.

With the Olympics just months away .. in Beijing, one cannot help but fear about the riots .. and the death of already 30 people. If you all remembered in 1989, the Tiananmen Square massacre, in which hundreds died when the party sent in tanks to crush pro-democracy protests. Now China fears that they may face the same disaster on par with the Tiananmen Square massacre.
