Margaret Thatcher once known as the Iron lady with Iron cast… is now at 82 and suffers from dementia. This illness has been robbing her of her memory.. and coupled by a few mini strokes.. this awesome and once upon a time the toughest woman i’ve come to be acquainted to.. now no longer has a memory of a website. But we all do grow old donch we..? It’s just sad.. to see her this way.. but no many women in my lifetime had lead a more meaningful life than she did.

This scumbag.. went on facebook.. whereby someone else had put up the page to pay tribute to Tim Mclean .. and posing as his sister.. had told facebook owner.. how they were having a hard time dealing with the killing.. and all. Never thought otherwise, he turned the facebook to scumbag imposter.. but this was later found out .. when the real “amanda” came to light.

With the fuel prices that were non controllable.. who could be traveling for leisure these days. Despite saying this.. the man’s cousins still came over from Toronto.. so yes.. we still have ppl traveling.. but i guessed they saved on hotel. .and some other stuff.. since they have their summer house here.. .and family. So how has the fuel’s yo yo affected you .. in your country..?
A chinese journalist used twitter .. to inform others of his arrest by security forces during the olympics and was forced to go somewhere far away from the event. It was said .. that Zhou the chinese journalist was ordered to meet the police and accused of having 2 kids in the 1 kid bylaw of China.. and local limit. But according to Zhou.. he is childless.. therefore the accusation was baseless. Zhou 27 was placed under arrest when he arrived at the police station .. and was driven to a mining town and currently under house arrest till the Olympics is over..?
We’ve heard alot about the chinese laws in China.. and i’m not hopeful for Zhou at all. There is no appeals.. and it is still pretty much a communist kinda practice.. from what i’ve heard.

In the first place . .why was a propane depot allowed in a residential area..?? this is what i cannot comprehend..!! surely the town and the council. . couldn’t have signed the papers to allow this to have happened. A body was found on late Monday after a series of massive explosions and we donch know if the body belongs to an employee ..?

Very shocking..?? indeed..!! I really feel sorry for this man .. by the name of Dede Koswara aka the Tree Man Of Java. Look at his hands..!!! how was he gonna do anything with hands like that.. and folks that donch know him.. would probably freaked right out.
He is said to be a very normal kid.. with only a bump that started .. and then developing all these warts that spread all over his body … and his hands and even face were covered with them. His wife of 10 yrs even left him.. because of his barklike growth.. for he wasn’t able to support her or their children. And I read that he was performing in some traveling freak show.. to support himself..!! not that is sad.. i really feel for this man.
Dede Koswara suffers what is known as a rare condition called epidermodysplasia verruciformis. Even i can’t pronounced nor spelled it .. much less know what the hell this is. B\but i know that this disease is caused by HPV .. that leads to the growth of macules and papules on the skin especially the hands and the feet. I am just so happy for him.. for being able to get treatment. This American dermatologist from University of Maryland.. called Anthony Gaspari .. prolly saved Dede’s life.. and gave him… a reason to live on.. .and even find a new love.. when he is cured.
Beheading another man is not normal.. and Vince Li supposedly did it .. to a 22 yrs old man – Tim Mclean on bus a greyhound. This is not only shocking to the community in Edmonton and Winnipeg but all of Canada that something so tragic could have happened. And it didn’t even seems like Vince Li or Tim Mclean had known each other.
Shocking as it might had been for those who knew Li .. what about those who loved the victim..?? what caused the attack..?? and will the killer plead temporary insanity..?? Charged with second degree murder.. i seriously doubt.. the family and friends of victim .. Tim MClean would be so forgiving and I donch blame them.
Very strong ones by the ex Prime Minister of Malaysia .. Mr M. Mahathir. In his blog.. he had written that Malaysia supports the criminal action of former British Prime Minister who had lied to his Parliament and to the British people about the war in Iraq and the Weapons of Mass Destruction, thus supporting the Bush administration to attack Iraq.
Because of Tony Blair’s endorsement . .thousands of innocents were killed.. and cities destroyed, together with the water supply and electricity to Iraq. Many soldiers from Canada.. and USA .. and other places are still in Iraq.. and being killed everyday.
Since no weapons of mass destruction were found.. Dr Mahathir feels that both Blair and Bush should be condemned as the worst ever criminals on earth in this century. Why..?? Because of the senseless killing .. the pointless launched of attack to Iraq and Iraqis.. the mass killing of innocent people that they had ordered to be carried out.. without any mercy.

The thing that sparked my interest in Malaysia and made me sit up and take notice was the case of the Deputy Prime Minister – Sodomy Case.
My thoughts on the below..?? will there ever be a real investigation for corruption .. or will anti-corruption be enforced in Malaysia..?? i highly doubt so.. given that even the cops are heavily involved in it.
1. ACA, or Anti-Corruption Agency is now willing to investigate possible corruption based on newspaper reports.
2. It is now doing just that with regard to the huge bill for maintenance of Proton Perdana official cars used by the Terengganu Government.
3. This has prompted the Terengganu Menteri Besar to question why the very costly Monsoon Cup and the Islamic Theme Park have not been investigated.
4. Promptly the Trengganu ACA has decided to do just that.
5. I must congratulate the ACA for its seemingly independent response to complaints of corruption.
6. But I am a little bit disappointed when very quickly the Terengganu ACA stated that preliminary investigations have shown no element of bribery involved.
7. I do not think the ACA should be looking for evidence of bribery. As with the servicing charges for Proton Perdana, ACA should be looking for the cost of the projects, whether reasonable or not. It should also look into how the contracts were awarded and to whom.
8. I know a lot of Terengganu people have complained about the projects. Seems that almost all the contractors and sub-contractors were from outside Terengganu. Could it be that there are no capable contractors in Terengganu.
9. I was on the verge of asking the ACA to investigate Proton’s sale of M.V. Agusta, which it bought for 72 million Euro but sold for just 1 Euro. We all know that the unknown buyer who paid 1 Euro then sold M.V. Agusta for a total of 160 million Euro.
10. Proton then claimed that by selling M.V. Agusta at 1 Euro it made 107 million Euro (M.V. Agusta’s debts).
11. As one of the commentators on my blog says, he smells fish, a dead one.
12. But I hesitate to ask the ACA to investigate in case preliminary investigation shows no wrong doing.

Shocking is the understatement here..! Today I learned that Zellers.. one of the biggest retailer all over Canada is not Canadian owned but owned by an American Company. Expanding and revamping the existing store is in their agenda right now. I heard that Zellers was sold for $1.1 billion and the new owners are those that already owned Lord & Taylor.
Now that we have Walmart in town. .i wonder if the new owners.. will close this store here.. for the town cannot support 2 big boys. The mall may be losing their anchor tenant.. and Walmart may really be driving Zellers out totally from Yarmouth. Not fun..!
Yes.. shocking as it might be for some.. Air Canada.. had been going down the drain.. financially. For someone who have had traveled Air Canada.. many a times.. i wouldn’t say.. that the flight attendants were the best.. but they do their job.. but what else do you expect right..?? Asian hospitality.. ?? like those of Singapore Airlines..?? no way.. they were just not trained this way.
Anyhow.. Air Canada is planning on shutting down the Halifax base.. by Nov 1st of this year. Halifax is pretty closed to my heart.. so it’s hard not to notice the news.. nor not say anything about it. 200 jobs will be lost.. and air canada’s employee protested .. and insisted they donch wanna leave their homes. I donch blame them… who would. So with the losing of jobs.. does it means.. that the government have to fork out more money for unemployement..?? Now wouldn’t you think the government would work something out .. with Air Canada..?? afterall, they still have to pay unemployment for a year or so .. to these ppl..?? But knowing the Canadian system.. i bet .. they wouldn’t even think of moving forward.. and lending a hand.. ! too much work.. and not within the norm eh..??
At all time high.. oil prices continue to soar .. at $142 on Friday .. but the US dollar remained weak .. sending jitters to the business world out there. Doubled in the past year.. the oil prices has triggered inflation worries and US is not of much help.. since the economical growth did not do any better.
Seeing that Canadian dollars are even stronger than the US dollars last year.. i already anticipated alot of changes.. and had been worried constantly.. even though the economist in the United States had said.. that there were nothing to worry about. How much more impact is this going to be .. for the rest of the world..?? Watch closely.. else you will be hit.. and you don’t even know what is going on.
Another hot coffee case like Macdonald’s..?? A woman is suing Victoria Secret .. because she claimed that the metal piece in her thong.. came flying at her.. and hurt her eyes. 52 year old Macrida Patterson claimed that while putting on her underwear.. the metal piece used to secure the rhinestone on the thong popped out.. and attacked her. Well.. i used the word attack.. but firstly .. why is a 52 yrs old wearing a thong..?? and if she was just wearing her thong.. how did it get into her eyes..?? unless she was pulling it really hard.. or trying to stretch the thong.. and it dislodged itself.. because c’mon.. things don’t go flying at you .. and why is your face near your panties anyways..?? makes no sense to me.. ! and to me.. it’s another case of suing macdonalds.. because the coffee is hot. This was indeed a very sad day.. when i heard on local news that Karissa Boudreau’s mother was charged with first degree murder of her 12 yrs old daughter..! I was kinda outraged.. to be honest..!! how the hell do you go killing your 12 yrs old daughter..???? Whatever she might have done.. it surely didn’t rendered her being killed.. and in such a horrible state.. ! left in ice.. in a cold winter day..!! it’s monstrous…!! Details were still not given.. as to how her mother caused her death.. but it is shocking.
Yes..!! shame on you .. Malaysian police.. and the government .. for letting this happen to a civilian..! no matter what the driver had done.. there was no need for it. There were as many as 30 policemen.. and there was no way.. the driver could have done anything to hurt them. This will certainly go down in history..! unbelievable.. but Hilary Clinton ended her presidency campaign and urged her supporters to endorse Obama. Wow..!!! 18 million voted for Hilary I heard and it is said that this was the closest a woman has come to capturing a nomination.
Obama was thrilled and honored with Hilary’s support. I’m wondering if she will be asked to be the vice president..?? the running mate..?? Did Hilary really inspired millions..?? I don’t really know.. maybe .. i am just biased.. when it comes to the Clintons. As soon as Hilary announced her end, those that had pledged to support her took a 360 degree turn and released statements announcing that they are no backing Obama. Wow..!! now you see what fickle minded is eh. Some of the high profile supporters included those who had supported Bill Clinton when he became President. They include Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulski and Maine Gov. John Baldacci. The playing with politics is just as practical as one can get .. when it is not thick and thins we are talking about here.
