A 60 years old woman died on a Via Rail train and 10 others fell ill. Train quarantined immediately. With 270 people quarantined in the depot in Foleyet, a community near Sudbury, Ont, police was notified of the medical emergency this morning.
Flu like symptoms was reported and at least one person was airlifted to the Timmins and District Hospital. 7 persons from Jasper area did not have the same degree or urgency that led to the death of the old woman.
Unable to determine what exactly it is yet, meanwhile, a CN Rail sleep station has evacuated and local health facilities are on standby. More update as soon as we find out from the news.
